He is Risen In deed!

We enjoyed a wonderful time together and created some great memories this Easter.  THe kids became "expert egg dyers" learning how to get the brightest colors.
Easter morning, the "Momma bunny ( ; " lend them on a trail of clues to find a suprise.

Rainbow Chalk!!!  NOW, we are ready for warm weather ( :
Egg chicks made their appearance at breakfast
... and the kids and I made resurrections rolls, as well.  Reading through the account of Jesus' resurrection.
Here's my Honey, trying to dress our wiggly Chubby Cherub (CC).

 Oh, what a handsome grin!
Big sister keeping the boys in line, lol!
Then it was time to try and get a family Easter picture...

 Take 1....
 Take 2...
 Take 3...
 Pretty cute!
 I'll take it...
...and done!  That's all we're gonna get, lol!

Then after church we headed out to Nana and Papa's for some food, family, and fun!  Aunt Hannah out did herself with a great Easter egg hunt!  Praise the Lord for beautiful weather so the cousin's could "hunt" and play outside!

The determination... ...you'd think Papa was racing him to the egg ( :
 Ian found a few...

 Mmm mmm M & M's Miss Morgie
 Crackin' 'em open ( :

Time MARCHes on!

Our boy has overcome his fear of water and has become quite a confident swimmer!  This month he moved up to a Level 2 swimmer!  Whoo, hoo; so proud of him.

On the Sorensen Farm (hehe) a new baby calf was born.  The kids got to go and see it the next day.
Uh, Nana?  Is that really how you ride it?

Cousins visiting and petting the new calf!  So fun ( :

Next stop: Our annual train ride to Seattle!  This year we went to the Aquarium.  We were able to touch many sea creatures.

 ...wrestle with an octopus...
...frighten a lion fish, lol.... Can you see the veins popping out the front of C head? ( :
 ...ride a whale...
....C played "rock, paper, scissors", with the diver and the diver showed him an starfish eating his meal.
Then we walked around in a very wet day!  Visited the Market....
...got something hot to drink.  Chai tea for me and Vanilla Steamers for the kids, Mmmm!

....visited the library to get out of the rain for awhile...
....then visited the Gold Miners mueseum.
Sadly, none of us struck it rich.  But JJ was convinced, had Dad been there, he could have done it.
 Finally, back on the train...

....good thing we packed a change of clothes ( :

We ended the month with a very special girls 7yr. old Birthday.  This sweet girl asked me to suprise her with a dessert.  The plan was "Cake Ice Cream Cones".  If you ever try it... ...you're supposed to pour the batter in and THEN set the cone upside down on top; lesson learned, lol!

Dinner of choice bagel dogs, fries, and broccoli
Gift time!  Beautiful new dress from Grandma & Grandpa!

So when given spilled cake... ...and some chocolate pudding and make a birthday Trifle, lol!  She was suprised.... ( :
Valentine's day hair (which lasted all of an hour looking this great, lol).!

 "Love"ly breakfast <3
 ...and dinner.

Here's C clowning around with the new sun roof.  Long line for gas at Costco equals.... ...please, get dressed for swimming in the car.  Which he thought was HILARIOUS!  ...equally fun, putting your hands out the sun roof. ( :
Also, made some new friends J & E.  So thankful for some sunshine at the park!
JJ & E hanging out on the playground.
My "fun crew" for the day. ( :
