Our boy has overcome his fear of water and has become quite a confident swimmer! This month he moved up to a Level 2 swimmer! Whoo, hoo; so proud of him.
On the Sorensen Farm (hehe) a new baby calf was born. The kids got to go and see it the next day.

Next stop: Our annual train ride to Seattle! This year we went to the Aquarium. We were able to touch many sea creatures.
...wrestle with an octopus...
...frighten a lion fish, lol.... Can you see the veins popping out the front of C head? ( :
...ride a whale...
....C played "rock, paper, scissors", with the diver and the diver showed him an starfish eating his meal.
Then we walked around in a very wet day! Visited the Market....
...got something hot to drink. Chai tea for me and Vanilla Steamers for the kids, Mmmm!
....visited the library to get out of the rain for awhile...
....then visited the Gold Miners mueseum.
Sadly, none of us struck it rich. But JJ was convinced, had Dad been there, he could have done it.
Finally, back on the train...
....good thing we packed a change of clothes ( :
We ended the month with a very special girls 7yr. old Birthday. This sweet girl asked me to suprise her with a dessert. The plan was "Cake Ice Cream Cones". If you ever try it... ...you're supposed to pour the batter in and THEN set the cone upside down on top; lesson learned, lol!
