Flat Tire: God's Provision
Our children were not introduced to God until they came into our home. As much as we try to tell them how great He is, how much He loves us, how He answers prayers, and that He knows our needs it's another thing for them to see God working! Coming home from church Wednesday night one of our tires popped on the freeway. It was dark and a light rain was falling down. We pulled to the shoulder on a busy and dangerous stretch of freeway. I was groaning inside but didn't want the kids to be scared so I put on a calm face. Jonathan got the spare and small jack out. In the minute it took him to do that a roadside assistance vehicle, returning from a service call pulled behind us with his lights flashing. The man jumped in with his much larger jack and the two of them had the tire changed in three minutes flat. And we were on our way... what an opportunity to express to our kids God's provision and caring. It brings to mind the verse (paraphrasing here) that God knows our needs, even before we ask. They got it. Praise God, even for delays!

So neat! Little seeds you can plant really do add up, keep doing it! BTW, love your "Caleb commentary," I've prayed for a long time you'd be able to share stories like that of your own, and here they are!!
