June & July: Time Flys!
Just playing at home this summer, feeding babies, going to the park, etc.
One night I did have two "Super heros" wash the dishes. Whoohoo!
Caleb having fun in Daddy's shoes.
Then there is Fourth of July. We relaxed at home. Jonathan got everything we needed for an awesome water fight: water balloon, squirt guns, water balloons, dip sticks, 5 gallon buckets full of water. We seriously had to have over 5 lessons during the day of "how to have a water fight". Should this be so hard? Isn't this and instinct children are born with?
Lessons of summer we learned this day:
1. Squirt guns are for shooting people, not watering the flowers.
2. Squirt guns are for shooting people, not getting the driveway wet.
3. You may shoot your sibling with water, even if they say "stop".
4. Shoot your sibling with water, even if they say "no".
5. When having a water fight it is best to hold on to your squirt gun, rather than dropping it and running.
6. ATTACK your sibling during a water fight!
7. Watermelon can be eaten with your hands.
8. Ruffles chips are great for scooping up baked beans.
Finally we ended the night with Dad putting on a great fireworks show!
